Joins Bentham Science as section editor for the special issue of Contemporary Drug Design.
Position Overview:
We invite researchers and scientists to join us as Section Editors (Special Issues) for the “Current Pharmaceutical Design” journal section most relevant to their expertise. We are looking for a Section Editor who has a proven track record of publishing and organizing special issues and can assemble a collection of high quality research/review articles in the section.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a comprehensive proposal for a particular issue in the section, outlining its importance and information on potential contributors.
• Gather a list of tentative article titles and invite senior scholarly authors with high H-index scores, preferably from advanced countries.
• Make sure contributors are committed to the open access model and can cover the Article Processing Charge (APC).
• Monitor manuscript submissions for adherence to scope and quality, manage peer review.
• Use the awarded honorarium to promote a particular issue within the scientific community.
Qualification and Experience:
• PHD. in a relevant discipline
• Strong networks within the research community.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with scientific publishing & the peer review processes.

Application Process:
Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and a detailed proposal by 8 April 2024. The proposal should include the title of the special issue, scope, keywords, sub-topic, tentative title, list of potential contributors, and submission deadline.
Special Instructions:
• Each author/co-author is welcome to contribute a paper to the Special Issue.
• Contributions must follow topics approved by the Editor-in-Chief.
• Extension of manuscript submission will be limited to 60 days.
